A relationship with Jesus based on grace and a Jesus community that lived grace-fully and spurred on a pursuit of God was the difference in how Mom and Dad saw and interacted with people. Yes you heard me correctly – how they connected to Jesus and they connected to church influenced how they interacted with people – it impacted who they had as friends and the depth of those friendships.
