We were created for connection. We were made to be in community. We all have a desire to belong, to be known, to be loved. And when we don’t have that. We know that something is missing.

That’s why groups are a big deal at Gateway. When God’s people get together, whether that’s to cook a meal, study scripture, or even play pickle ball…when that happens, relationships develop and community is fostered. And spiritual influence happens. So whether you’re new to the area and haven’t really developed friendships yet, or whether you’ve been here for a long time and are realizing, “Maybe I’m too isolated. Maybe I need to stop feeling disconnected and start stepping into other people’s lives more.” Whatever your story is, our hope is that you will be a part of a group at Gateway. That you will make the time to do it. That you will get to know others, and let others get to know you. If you do, God will use that community to grow you and to bless you. …because you were created for this.
