Sundays

We are passionate about teaching kids from birth through 5th Grade that God created them, He loves them, He calls them by name and that they can trust God’s Word! Come join us on our journey to grow closer to God’s heart through music, play, bible stories and fun!
Secure Check-in/Check-out
All GatewayKids, ages birth-12yrs old, are checked in by parents at one of four Check-In Stations located near the entrances to GK Junior and the Kids Auditorium.
When you arrive, go to the GK Jr. entrance for ages 0-4yrs and/or the Elementary entrance towards the back of the building for ages 5-12yrs old. One of our greeters will check you in and hand you a security tag that goes on your child’s back and one that you keep for pick-up. At pick-up, you will hand your security tag to your child’s teacher who will remove the security sticker from your child’s back and release your child to you. All of our team members are required to have attended Gateway for at least six months and pass a background check before serving in GatewayKids.
Our Classes
Nursery - 6 weeks to 18 months
Our youngest friends enjoy a secure soothing environment with age appropriate toys, baby equipment and play. If needed, there is also a Mother’s room at the back of the sanctuary for feeding and changing, with a live stream of the service.
Toddler - 18 months - 2 years
Our toddlers enjoy age appropriate play and curriculum. They cover the very basics of God creating them and that He loves them with songs and short lessons from the Bible App for Kids curriculum out of Life.Church.
Pre-School - 3 - 4 year olds
Our Pre-Schoolers follow the Bible App for Kids Curriculum from the LifeKids Team at Life.Church. We love the Bible App for Kids curriculum, as it brings all the elements that preschoolers love best - like songs, animated characters, and an interactive host - together in a two-year curriculum designed to work in tandem with the stories in the Bible App for Kids. Twice a month, our preschoolers join our elementary kids for worship near the beginning of the service and then return to their classroom for their bible lesson, activity and snacks.
Parents & preschoolers can watch lessons and memorize verses at home in the corresponding Bible App for Kids chapters. Visit www.bible.com/kids to download the app.
Elementary - 5-9 year olds
Our 5-9 year olds go to Konnect. In Konnect, kids come together to learn about God and who they are because of Jesus. They start off each Sunday morning with live worship in the Kids Auditorium, followed by fun games and curriculum lessons from the LifeKids Team at Life.Church. After that, they go back to classes with their small group leaders for small group activities and discussion time.
Pre-teens - 10-12 year olds
Our 10-12yr olds are called The Loop. They meet in a space designed just for them, with couches, music videos, foozeball and more. Loop kids start out in their classroom and then join the rest of GK for live worship in the Kids Auditorium and some really fun games. They then head back to class for The Loop Show, followed by small group discussion and activities.
GK Plus
GatewayKids Plus exists to minister to and include kids with special needs. It is our desire to come alongside families of special needs children to provide a safe, inclusive environment for their child within the construct of our Sunday morning classes. We have a team of people who are committed to being a Buddy for a special needs child in our ministry.
In order to best serve your child, please make sure to email Pastor Bruna before coming to service. Our Buddy’s come according to the need of the day, so we can be sure to have a Buddy ready for your child.
If you have a child that we can assist or if you would like to become a GK Plus Buddy, please contact Pastor Bruna, and download, print, and fill out the Child Profile Form:
GK Wellness Policy
GatewayKids takes the health and safety of our children very seriously and strives to provide a safe, healthy environment for all. Immediately following each service, our volunteer staff cleans all toys and surfaces used. In addition, twice weekly, an outside contracted company cleans our facilities with hospital grade disinfectant. There are several things you can do as well to help our environments stay germ-free:
Please help your child use the hand sanitizer provided at the Check-In Stations before they enter Kids Church.
Emphasize the importance of hand washing, especially after using the restroom.
If your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home.
Symptoms such as fever, a yellow/green runny nose, frequent cough, diarrhea or vomiting, red and runny eyes, and undiagnosed rashes are all indicators that a child should not be placed in GatewayKids or GK Jr. for the protection of the other children.
All children must be fever free without fever reducing medication for at least 24 hours before attending.
If our Kids ministry team notices any of the above symptoms while a child is in their care, the parent will be notified and asked to take the child home.
Thank you for helping GK be the healthiest it can be!
