EPIC: Jacob

The story of Jacob is the power of surrender to God. We don’t want to surrender to God, we want God to come alongside us and empower us. This is a pervasive teaching among Christians. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ we strengthens me – not with Christ. I have to go through Christ, He has to be within me. He is only within me when I surrender to Him and most of this time our surrender only comes in a struggle with Him. But when we concede in the struggle we come out stronger!
