Grace comes through the expression of time spent, compassion given, forgiveness extended, generosity heaped upon etc. The world around us does reciprocal relationships (you scratch my back I scratch yours). The world does parasitic relationships (I want something from you so I will pose as a friend). The world does justice relationships (you have done right by me, I will do right by you –– you mess with me, I will mess with you). But God does grace relationships – (you don’t deserve this but I am going to do this anyway).
