Back to School Events Serving Vulnerable Children

This year Gateway Mission 21 will be partnering with Church of the City and FrankTown Open Hearts to provide school supplies and clothing for approximately 500 vulnerable children in our local area.

There are two opportunities to serve. 

1) Volunteer to work at the Back to School Carnival.
The Carnival is an opportunity to provide over 100 foster and adoptive families with a new backpack, school supplies, shoes, clothes and a fun time. Event will be held at the Church of the City Parking Lot, 4910 Main Street, Spring Hill from 9AM-3PM, organized into 2 shifts. Gateway will be in charge of the hot dog stand and the prize booth. You must be 15 and have a current Gateway background check to serve. 

When: July 27, 2024. Two shifts: 8:30 - 12:00 PM or 11:30 to 3:00 PM
Where: Church of the City, Main Street, Spring Hill.

2) Provide a winter coat for a vulnerable child.
There will be tags on a pegboard in the Great Room with sizes, colors and suggested style on the back. Please buy the coat and bring it back to Gateway by July 10, or if you prefer, you can make a donation.
